Industrial tents with lots of volume are sometimes called marquees.

A Poly-Ned industrial tent or marquee is a reliable roofing solution that consists of a steel frame or a load-bearing structure covered by a PVC-coated cloth. The greatest advantages of these stormproof marquees are the short building time that is required and the large quantity of light inside the marquee. Marquees can be extended to nearly any length. Marquees can be quickly and easily installed and moved. You can install the marquee yourself after training. The Poly-marquee can be quickly supplied and can be broadly deployed as an all-weather marquee, storeroom, warehouse and a production or demonstration room, to name but a few application examples.

Description
This rollable roofing or ‘work on’ tent has been developed by Poly-Ned and KWS and has conducted to a completely new concept. It is a very rapidly build construction, which is in dismantled state compactly to transport and re-usable.

These ‘work on’ tents are very suitable for the modernisation of (steel) bridges and (conditioned) maintenance activities among which renewing of the pavement. It is a pleasant work climate for the maintenance staff! The ‘work on’ tent is used on the Haringvlietbrug in the autumn of 2008 and has a length of 400 m, a width of 13.5 m. The altitude of the tent is such that 2 trucks can pass each other.

The construction has been designed to resist of wind strength 10. The tent is very stable and can very well absorb wind pressure waves caused by passing traffic (on the adjacent lane).

Description
This approximately 50 m long marquee (2 units) consists of a steel frame with a concrete roof, which has in part been provided with a special PVC-coated polyester on both sides.
This was an ideal situation for NS to deal with a temporary capacity problem.

Description
This is a special application of a marquee. It has been applied as mobile roofing for a swimming pool/tennis court. Rails had been mounted on both sides of the marquee, which meant that the whole structure could be moved to the adjacent tennis court.
